Peepal like patience
English Poetry |
Last year ,this time,
the peepal tree I see ,
from the window of mine,
was chopped by heartless someone with glee;
But now,she looks great and might,
Dark green leaves topped with light,
bushy ,tall ,and when sunlit bright,
my eyes delight.
Again like before she waits for wind,
to orchestrate and play;
the leaves on her branches set to sway,
present music like many thousand bells in a methodic chime,
Was it her patience that really did pay?
a beautiful message very nicely woven as a poem…. nature indeed keeps on teaching many great virtues, all we need is to notice and borrow them.
Kanchana,
