English Poetry

1.                 If one is in love, known as fiancée or fiancé,

If one is engaged to somebody, termed as ‘would be’,

If one is married, distinguished as wife or husband,

Every one is well known with a label, demarcated,

In the glittering world of romantic love and marriage.

     2.                 A young sweet lady is a maiden, pretty,

A young cheerful man is a handsome, guy,

If a baby is born to her, she is a mother,

If a baby is born to him, he is a father,

If children get babies, parents turn to grandparents; why?

 3.               He has a vast area of land property,

                    the end result is poverty,

His siblings, away, send him money order,

regularly, to help him, not to live as a pauper,

He spends it lavishly, without saving for safety.

  4.               Summons reached the house,

seeking the owner of the house,

ordering, the owner to report to the police,

                    for the charge of smoking, at a public place;

He, a nonsmoker, had died a few years before.
