« Trapped in my own trap! | You Are Blessed When… » |
At His Mercy…
English Poetry |
The lonely moon gazes down and play
as the sound slowly into the air fades away.
Waiting as usual for the break of dawn
from this wonderful night to a morn.
I have had my fill of the blessed day
and this night for a while would stay.
Remembering now to be grateful,
for all His acts over us so graceful.
Why should I worry and waste my time
isn’t that too a formidable crime?
I would rather bow my head in humility
and be thankful for a day with stability.
I thank You for the game I played
for the silvery studs and not red.
I thank You for the hot bowl of soup
the times You’ve kept me in your loop.
I know You’ve been watching over,
times when I’ve been nasty or sober.
I’ve nothing much to worry about
as You watch over me from beyond the clouds.
A splendid poem with lovely thoughts, Krishna.
