English Poetry

Here I lay, my body

just as a mere corpse

but I am awake

as my mind, active and busy

in dreaming, hence visualising.

*****

All the possible and impossible

I do as my dream

flows like a magnificent stream

from the snowy white thoughts without a pebble;

Dream and only dream can sustain me.

*****

Death can not come near me

to take away my hopes;

I can fight with death through my dreams

hence, even death may hesitate

to snatch me away from my abode.
