Predicament ….!
His wife’s friend per appointment came to meet her at 5 pm
He informed “I am sorry & afraid my wife isn’t yet home
It is 10 Hours now that she has left & gone out shopping,
She may have met with an accident or is a case of kidnapping,
But I am seriously afraid it may be that she is still shopping.”
The poor friend couldn’t fathom how she should be responding…

That’s what he seemed to be afraid of and concerned about more than anything else. 🙂 Or was he pulling a fast one on her friend.
