                           Scorching heat of the sun

                          darkened and dried my skin

Which kind of oil to soften

to be applied on my skin?

Has nature did construe my melancholy?

I assume so, coz, soon the sky

got darkened with heavy black clouds

as if they may fall on the ground or hills?

A streak of thought flashes on mind

instilling the desire to revive childhood

to run in rain, wetting the clothes

adhering to my body and hair locks.

Soon could I hear the drum beating

to give rhythm to the music of drizzling,

that continues to become incessant rain

and replaces by quick steps of rain to quell disdain.

                            My heart valves

                           play the strings

                          of violin along

                        with the rain song.

                         ***************
