Minutes seem to last an hour,
Lost in the chores of the mundane.
No pride, no sense of satisfaction
I am looking for divine intervention.
Till when will I cover my plight,
In the cloak of self-deception.
Ruining my most productive days,
Liberation is what my heart says.
New surroundings, familiar people.
Alone in a crowd like diamond in the rough.
The Past was beautiful, the Present is grave,
Future enveloped in the fog of uncertainty.
Despondent, negative energy chokes me.
But I shall fight to the core and will be brave.
Keep the faith; I may seem like a bad debt
But please don’t write me off just yet.
