Dec 2010 Contest

I am submitting this poem on 31st of Dec 2010 in Pacific Time Zone (USA). So It may look late, please consider this poem for the contest.

.

I am John Schneider,

and don’t ask me who I am

that’s how I live and that’s how I prefer,

for now its been years, away and home.

.

Read not what’s written

make no impressions, create no thought,

a million search pages smitten

on what I have got.

.

John Schneider is now for history,

years pass by and this year was no new

darkness, despair and haunts of glory,

no fame left, no fame due.

.

Sneaking light is a day and rest is me,

counts feeble, counts don’t add more

clocks tick through and so be,

music pleases, it goes on, and I ignore.

.

The world appears continued, isn’t it,

unruffled and calm and so is inside here.

No clashes, no combats, so subdued

all were at peace, so was I John Schneider.

.

Years were not at count, did they pass by,

nor were the unanswered knocks at the door and people unheard,

though what made me open that day and why?

suddenly a million clicks on me and my eyes blurred.

.

A time check, yes it was indeed,

microphones and cameras, surprising and unclear,

so what would change now, I thought of what about me is writ?

something more on pages I guess, truth or gossips, on this old man called John Schneider.

.

A year 2010 in the life of John Schneider.

Liked very much the idea and the presentation
of John Schneider in 2010, the deliberation & emotions
he may have felt in this Ulhas, your hearty poem
Commends; But how about one on “Mr Ulhas Kavale” man….?
