                  The days that had

                    travelled with me

                    vanished, for ever.

Some days clicked bright and shiny

             the other days, very dull and glum;

                   Those days had gone

for ever, never to come back.

Those nights that befriended with me

had gone, never to come back.

Do not wish either to meet them

                   so that I may avoid

the few roles they play in life

                to leave bare invisible marks.

                                  ******

Looking at present, at the days,

I long to take resolutions, a handful,

                     never to call back

                    those days and nights

                which showered dreams, success,

               diseases, set backs and repercussions.

                                  ******

                       Yearn more, to meet

                the ensuing days and nights

                as challenges to overcome

                hurdles, distractions and omissions

                to move forward, unmistakably with

                courage, optimism and undying spirit.
