“Haughty-naughty”

In colleges and schools, there are multifarious activities,
Besides teaching, celebrating occasional-seasonal functions !
Annual Day, Republic Day, Freedom Day like festivities,
Teachers and students gather like passengers in junctions !
In marriages, holy-thread ceremonies or any National Festival,
Literary meets, Art Concerts, Exhibitions, Games or Cinemas,
Or identical red-letter days, whether celestial or terrestrial,
The ‘haves’ well so rejoice and ‘have-nots’ ever face dilemmas !
In all spheres, we may well witness disparities among people,
Elite class ever seemed giving others radically a wide berth,
By occupying separate box-seats over and above a houseful,
With a view to invariably visualize their well wealthy worth !
Such elitism is tantamount to pontificate haughty behaviour,
People of the lower classes enviously beseach naughty career !
Haughty attitude is most common in elite sophisticated females,
Who are ever egoistic to prove superiority through boastful tales !
Similar attitude is well observed by the silver-tail haughty males,
Unmindful of their poorest ancestral entity from which any hails !
Middle and lower class people are thus constrained to be naughty,
To defeat, however, such haughtiness when it is felt too pretty !
Such quandary of disparity is apt to manipulate havoc many times,
Through commotions, revolutions and resultant strikes or crimes !
It is hence enjoined upon the elites to dissuade disparity so seen,
To create harmony and tranquility which all humans may esteem !
Bragadocio on account of elitisms or else is not an eternal boon,
However rich anybody may be born mouthing a silver-spoon !
The ultimate is its dismissal by ageing or edging time of life,
In which state everybody sustains idly irrecoverble strife !

Unfortunately, what makes it mostly a problem is that it is at the expense of the have-nots whether income tax-free or ex gratia from the public purse,
