Your leaves ~

lighter

greener

paler

Drying silently

in my sorrow ;

Inverse decay

Another

autumn calling

Yet,

betrothed

to my branch

Waiting

to fall..

And be free.

Here,

my whirlwinds

wait

to entangle you

in their vicious

motion ;

Of Afterlife

My dust

veiled

in fragility,

will silently

erode you

In time.

One by one

your leaves,

now yellow ~

will decay in me

And fall…

Freedom, at last.

There,

On my soil

dews will weep,

the passing wind

will carry you

Away.

~

Seasonal.

perhaps, perennial.

But,

To a fading autumn

your leaves ;

were found

eternal..

    Priyal,
    very compelling read.
    There is a hauntingness to it, an ongoing decay started in preparation for the process and evoking a response that continues.
    ” There,
    On my soil
    dews will weep,
    the passing wind
    will carry you
    Away.” – so sad in feel and one must wonder how or what freedom exists in any of this?
