English Poetry

LOVE,

You came softly on tip-toe,

just to go ,to walk away

on a summer day,

like a rain cloud

in a shroud.

Nay, you came without a scheme

like a mid-summer night’s dream.

With artistry,gained mastery

over  a tender  heart ,in mystic mystery !

You flew away on winged winds,

tracing indelible footprints,

leaving neither footnotes,

nor flute notes;

In such eloquent silence ,

shattering my quiet innocence .

    Sarala,
    beautiful.
Lovely image – “like a rain cloud
    in a shroud.”
(footprints, footnotes, flute notes) a well thought string of words,
    Gion

Very beautiful extraordinary poem on love
in a very lovely poetic musical manner
sings of what is has done.
    Indeed very delighting…
