ਮੇਰਾ ਵਜੂਦ ਪੰਘਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਂਗ
ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੰਝੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਰਮਾਇਸ਼ ਲੈ ਕੇ
ਫੁਟਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਵਾਲਾਮੁਖੀ ਵਾਂਗ
ਦੁਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਵਰਸਾਂਦਾ, ਫੁਟ ਪਿਯਾ|
ਸੁਣਦੇ-ਸੁਣਦੇ – ਜੀਊਣਾ ਤਾਂ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਲਯੀ,
ਕਰਨਾ ਹਰ ਕਮ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ, ਪਰ, ਹੋਰਾਂ ਲਈ,
ਮੁਸ੍ਕੁਰਾਉਣਾ ਤੁੰ ਹਰ ਪਾਲ
ਨਸ਼ਤਰ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਚੀਰ ਦੇਣ ਰੂਹ ਤਕ, ਰੋਣਾ ਨਯੀਂ!
ਬੰਦਾ ਵਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਯਾ ਧੂਲ ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੀ?
ਜੋ ਆਊਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਰੌਂਦ ਕੇ ਤੁਰ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਮੈਨੂ
ਆਦਮੀ ਵਲ ਫੇਰ ਵੀ ਮੈਨੂ ਤਕ ਏ ਪ੍ਯਾਰ ਦੀ
ਇਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਕੋਈ ਤੇ ਚੁਕ ਕੇ ਸਾਂਭੇ ਮੈਨੂ!
ਇਕ ਕੁੱਤਾ ਆਯਾ ਸੀ ਨੇੜੇ ਜਯਾ
ਚ੍ਟ ਕੇ ਥੋੜਾ ਪ੍ਯਾਰ ਜਤਲਾ ਗਯਾ
ਅਧਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਫੜਕੇ, ਅਖਾਂ ਡ੍ਬ੍ਡ੍ਬਾ ਗਯੀਆਂ
ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਏਸੀ ਲਾਯਕ ਰਹਿ ਗਯਾ?
ਨਫਰਤ ਆਊਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਜੂਦ ਤੋਂ
ਨਫਰਤ ਆਊਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੁਨਿਯਾ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਝੂਠ ਤੋਂ,
ਨਫਰਤ ਆਊਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਖਸ ਤੋਂ
ਜੇੜਾ ਜੀਊਣ ਲਯੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਖੌਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ|
मेरा वजूद पिघली हुई आग की तरह
आँखों से आंसुओं की गर्माईश ले कर
फूटते हुए ज्वालामुखी जैसे
दुखों के पत्थर बरसाता फूट पडा|
सुनते-सुनते — जीना तो औरों के लिए
करना हर काम खुशी से, पर, औरों के लिए
मुस्कुराना तू हर पल
नश्तर चाहे चीर दें रूह तक, रोना नहीं!
बन्दा हूँ मैं या धूल हूँ ज़मीन की?
जो आता है रौंद के मुझको चल देता है
आदमी से फिर भी उम्मीद रखता हूँ प्यार की
कोई तो आकर इक तरफ संभाल कर रक्खेगा मुझे!
एक कुत्ता आया था कुछ पास सा
चाट कर थोड़ा सा प्यार जतला गया
होंठ मेरे फडके, आँखें डबडबा गयीं
क्या मैं इसी काबिल रह गया?
नफ़रत आती है मुझे मेरे वजूद से
नफ़रत आती है मुझे दुनिया के हर झूठ से
नफ़रत आती है मुझे हर उस शख्स से
जो जीने के लिए जीवन को झपटता है औरों से !!
Like molten lava, my identity,
Borrowing heat from tears of my eyes
Like an erupting volcano,
Scattered rocks of sadness everywhere.
Drummed by words: ” Live, but for others
Do all you can, but for others
Smile, anyway you can
Be it a pierced soul or heart shattered”.
Am I human or dust from the ground?
Why am I trodden by one and all?
I still look for love from these so called humans
Hoping some kind soul will mercifully pick me up!
A dog had come somewhat near
Licked me a bit, went off
My lips fluttered, eyes flooded with tears
Does my existence deserve just this??
I have come to hate my own existence
I have come to hate this world full of pretense
I have come to hate every such human
Who, snatches from others, their sustenance.

परमिन्दर जी, बहुत अच्छी रचना और अनुवाद भी अति सुन्दर लगा. गुरुमुखी में पोस्ट हुई रचना में कुछ शाब्दिक त्रुटियाँ हैं जो ठीक की जा सकती हैं, जैसे – ਹੰਝੁਆਂ, ਵਰਸਾਂਦਾ, ਫੁੱਟਦਾ, ਲਈ, ਖ੍ਹੋਂਦਾ.
