English Poetry
Morning bright, or dark night
my soul will stand by me
till I’ll be right…
It would never betray
me on my way
but only if I decide
knowingly a false choice
still she would stay
not helping in any way
only to finally say
“I told you so that day!”

Liked the poem & its essence very much.
    Hearty commends.
Our soul thru’ our conscience guides us rightly always
It is when we don’t listen to our conscience that we go astray …

      @SARALA KURUP JAGAN,
      Cathy,
Unusual to see ‘soul’ addressed as ‘she’.
      Woman’s view point?
‘Soul’ remains an abstract entity imagined by humans.
Soul does help as a moral support during physical, mental, emotional crisis in life.’Jiva’ depending upon ‘Shiva’ like an anchor.

    Cathy,
    a fine reflective piece.
Soul, mind, emotion, conscience, heart, consciousness, brain, intellect, rationality? Where are the boundaries? What are the inter-plays?
We cannot find any path with pausing to try and read the signs,
    Fergus
