Are all artist-artistes-artisans addicts of intoxication, as they say ?
Chain-smokers, boozy drinkers, theics or tobacco-chewers be they ?
May be so, let it go, I need not know, but I shall never bow so low !
I am a teetotaler, having written 550 poems so far solely meo voto !
May kindly visit poetic sites “p4poetry.com” and “Bookrix.com”
With my own authorship having gained high appraisals off and on !
My puritanism is ever felt praiseworthy in my every endeavour,
Gaining glory among contemporaries living far as well as near !
So I urge upon all human beings to refrain from any addictions,
So as to never stray in the way over and above any predictions !

I feel passion for poetry is intoxication in mind of the right kind
Which makes reading and writing poetry an addiction profound

those which appertain to dark side of habits and writing poems is
not an addiction but rather a devotion to literary creativity and
to cultivate anything knowledgeable not only for one’s own
contentment but also for enlightenment among people far or
near !
