Lost in thought
he sailed the boat slowly
through the pompous
river flowing vigorously.
Watched over his head
in the sky, the flight of
a flock of birds with
fluttering wings, at times, bringing
close to the river water
pecking fish in their beaks
one by one to have a grand feast.
Got excited at the sight
of glistening water gushing
through the huge heap of rocks
and his mind squandered.
Got thrilled while looking
at the twigs and green leaves
moving along with the flow
of water in the heavily blowing wind
and in rhythmic waves, while sailing.
