English Poetry

I was misled
to a fantasy world
where stars twinkle
irrespective of day or night,
I kept wandering,
suavely on the path so flamboyant,
free as wind
With the glee of butterfly,
I was amazed,
as I was travelling through the white sky,
the smell of jasmine
ruled my kingdom,
music of opera
rushed into my veins,
I was submerged
unto the wave of my own dictates,
And then I was tired
of my own colourful wonderland,
soon I realized the sudden transformation…
I was misled
but towards desert
where stars collapse
with every unfulfilled wish.
Yes, I am still wandering
but the path lay cold and damp,
dead as moth
with the wrath of fire,
I was bewildered,
as I kept travelling through the Blue sky,
the smell of wreath
governed my coffin,
a monotonous carol
flushed my veins,
I was drowned…
Yes, unto the wave of my own dictates…
And now I am tired
of my wayward journey
through my purple wonderland….
