March Ahead
English Poetry, Jun 2012 Contest |
(Autumn Weather is compared with the Kings Army)
.
Air blew whistling and the leaves march circled,
disciplined whirls of the royal command,
in music, for his majesty crowned
along with the men they pound.
.
Horses parade these men of honor
far away from their shade and strand,
brought by a will or pulled in stir
they whirl together in hand.
.
Disbanded for their loved one,
they hold no pain of separation,
so they sing, so they loud, straight and stern,
pointing up their gun.
.
Of songs of land, of songs of return
of good times, these men hum,
and they know, till they are away, no concern
no fear glooms upon their home.
.
As usual, idea & the poem in its unique ” Ulhas” class
