Can not laugh
himself in darkness
yet, trying to make
the world laugh;
A magnanimous soul is he
the tearjerker joker.
He sees the smile
on others’ lips
face and muscles
permeating slowly
into his own heart
blessing him in abundance
with sound serene sleep.

Reminds me of Raj Kapoor’s film Mera Naam Joker.
He makes the audience laugh with his antics but at heart he is crying at his personal sorrow which nobody can see..
