“Day & Date Defined Doubly”
———————————–
Day is commolnly denoted by daily sunrise and sunset,
Cock-crowing and dawn chorus well synchronize that !
On the stroke of midnight, both day and date do conclude,
Just after that the next day and date invariably intrude !
Day dwells well in date awaiting until arrival of the dark,
To succeed consecutively apropos of the calendar mark !
Day is specified differently known by its seven names per day,
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday !
A period of 24 hours is geographically allocated to each day,
Dawn, Morn, Noon, Afternoon, Dusk, Evening, Night & Midnight,
Divide the day proportionately between darkness and light !
The Sun is The Great Creater-Cum-Operator of all this environ,
The cock is the indicator of next day through his punctual siren !
A differently elegant take on the subject
Liked immensely
Date & Day defined doubly & beautifully
But there is something else called “Date” which is differently defined
More popular amongst youngsters who, for fixing the Day & date for it remain busy & occupied :))
@Vishvnand, Thanks a lot !
I think, the most popular amongst youngsters is the verbal noun
of date i.e. “dating” !
@ashwini kumar goswami ,
In these modern days, the one whom you are dating is called a “date”, I suppose, whatever be her name… 🙂
