a remote farm-house
power goes off and you’re scared
when crickets screech ‘seize’
power goes off and you’re scared
when crickets screech ‘seize’
you grope for a match-box
and find it nowhere, when enters
your room a glow-worm
Words & happening understood but not the hidden sense & real meaning
which mind is continuing to probe & struggle without success yet….

Reading this poem I recall a Hindi couplet, author not known, but told to me by affectionate childhood friend of mine Late Shri Durga Shankar Shukla,
सांध्य रवि ने कहा “मेरा काम लेगा कौन?”
रह गया सुनकर जगत सारा निरुत्तर मौन
एक माटी के दीये ने नम्रता के साथ
कहा “जितना कर सकूँगा मैं करूँगा नाथ”
glow worm signifies aal that is there to keep the hope alive in an otherwise dismal environment,is it not.
Aww, really liked the brief scenario created here. The glow worm adds light literally.

As a practicing writer, I have always adopted an instinctive logic it felt normal to concentrate on the subject ->
develop with ideas/answers -put it on paper. Yet, nothing can save me when I
was writing about thermodynamics, as an instance,
that, as you can imagine, is not my main field of expertise.
