discarded litter

fallen leaves rustling

branches reach skyward

devoid of leaves but still seen

with scaled eyes

against winter sky

braided delta of branches

mapping confusion

bare brittle branches

spread against the cold blue sky

x-ray of a heart

  1. Hi
Like myriad snaps, the pen- pictures of trees shedding leaves in autumn. The bare tree like the X-ray of heart bereft of all hurt and pain after letting go. .
Nicely structured . A nice pictorial effect in these lines
    ‘against winter sky
    braided delta of branches
    mapping confusion’.

    “braided delta of branches”
Beautiful line depicting the bare branches and a very picturesque depiction of autumn. Also, I like the way you have compared “bare brittle branches” to a heart. Very nice.
