When the mind is totally blank,
Thou shalt etch a line of Faith.
When the heart is totally barren,
Thou shalt sow a sapling of Love.
When the soul is totally in the dark,
Thou shalt light a spark of Truth.

जब मन को, कुछ भी सूझे न,
तू उस पे, छोड़ दे डोरी,
दिल की वीरान धरती,
उसने पनीरी प्यार की बो दी,
लगे जब अन्तकरण में सब,
अँधेरा ही अँधेरा है,
सत्य प्रकाश से लिख दे,
तेरी किताब जो कोरी.
