death makes immortal
and immortals die,
by the static lakes,
under the moving sky.

i cut with dispassion,
in ribbons this picture,
no ribbon like another,
all alike without the other.

picture makes ribbons,
ribbons make picture,
in time which is which,
to the careless i?

as the lake moves,
skies stand still,
to the lake tears flow,
of the careful eye.
