English Poetry

Just a glow-worm carrying my own light
in my tail , a lot of insight .
Won’t fight or rebel or squirm
For I am no disgusted worm .

Fluttering by the window in the night
like inspiration, flit the neon lights
The glowworms of wrongs and rights
all tremble before the crowned might .

Blue and bright, twinkling in the dark
from that huge banyan and it’s wilted bark
I am your conscience, your prescience
I mock your essence and your presence.
your lessons and your absences.

O Man ! blind without your urbane city lights,
I, though small, carry my own insights,
my own fluttering blinking lights.

Excellent words! Beautiful, meaningful poetry and the comparison of glow worms with conscience is so apt!! loved it!
