No ownership ….!
He was a proud poet,
His friend an ardent lover.
The friend informed the poet,
” I impressed my girlfriend
reciting one of your lovely poems”
The poet asked “Did you tell her,
the poem was not yours but mine.”
Friend replied “Forget it dear,
Why should I? The poem is yours
only till it is in your mind.
It belongs to the passionate readers’
no sooner it’s out & you write it down …!
Don’t claim sole ownership to it my friend
you’ve enjoyed writing, now don’t mind
Let others own it; be content & happy
that it’s in use, giving joy to many,
& going sweetly around

They deserve honour for their unique talent.
