English Poetry

When I fail to discern between the good and the bad,

I submit my thoughts unto Thee.

When I fail to discriminate between the right and the wrong,

I subserve my writ unto Thee.

When I fail to distinguish bewten giving and receiving,

I surrender my acts unto Thee.

nice poem…. but I think it is not complete yet. Submitting your thoughts to god is just half part but what after that?
In present form… poem may give wrong idea of submitting to god and do noting on our behalf if it does not tell about action part… i.e. In what ways god direct us and how one act after that submission…. that is something I think poem does not have in its current form…. I’m sorry, if I misunderstood your poem… I want to share some info… there are other poetry portal too…. very beautiful.. in a sense poetic.. you can try that… Saavan.in

I appreciate your comment on my poem.
What I meant was that my poems come to be on the spur of inspiration which I think comes from some power beyond me which I call God. That is why I surrender all my writings unto God.
