“Being Healthy, Wealthy & Wise ….!”
The art of living & growing old gracefully,
Is in saying no to so many things we have been saying yes to
& saying yes to many things we have been saying no to,
Such that the choices we finally make are healthy,
Interesting, wise, graceful and for our well being, worthy
This is what today is living “healthy, wealthy & wise”
Unlike the old saying “Early to bed & early to rise,
Makes a man healthy wealthy and wise….!”
This is difficult in these times and an impractical advice,
For if he still does so, his wife may go out with other guys.
Listing the things we have to say yes to & no to,
And reworking our tasks list “to do” and “not to do”,
Is nowadays an interesting, useful & wise exercise
Than most of the time sitting watching TV & ads futile.
All this is being lovingly advised to me by some one,
Residing in my mind’s inside; & I presume he’s cool & wise.
Wanting me do all this to enjoy living a wonderful life …!

Lifestyle has changed and topsy turvied the traditional saying”Early to bed, early to rise” no doubt. Jobs such as the ones at Call centres , lead to late night duty, and consequently late rising up for modern day youth.
