Solitude
English Poetry |
In SOLITUDE I sit
Only to find myself
Cravings gnaw
Twiddling my feelings
At the churning within
No sound I hear
As I delve in the abyss
Yet the silence beckons
A deeper scream
Till tranquility reins
Porous as this rock
Yet solid to the core
Beaten by the waves of time
But I stand alone
Watching eons go by
Never alone in time
With moonlight on me
Inwards I feel peace
The soulful serenity
SOLITUDE as I know
Beautifully expressed ” solititude”. It just strikes the chord!!

‘..Yet the silence beckons
A deeper scream…’ a kind of oxymoron…very good.
Thank you Anuradha. Not all would understand the deeper meanings. You could.

Hi Jacquelyn,What a great giveaway. I’m totally into the Rooftops of Paris print. It would look great in my guest bedroom and reminds me of my last trip to Paris.Nicole
