Never went out of my mind
Distance didn’t matter
Nor any reason I could find
The waves
Just reminded me of you
So what
If the sky was dark or blue
The music
Or was it the intoxicating wine
Lilting
Just to make you mine
Sunrise
Just for you and me
Radiating
Blissfully, with a subtle glee
Stars
Twinkling like never before
Tonight
As we settle down once more
