“I put this moment here,” Kate Bush lyrics

And other random words abide.

Am I now Cnute? Hurling wasted lines

On to this receding eventide?

All those deeply furrowed dreams,

A life’s untended plots let slide.

After the pause it’s easier to conclude

That we were the ones to put aside.

Those knowing looks from piercing eyes,

Even this reflection seems to chide.

The bird has truly flown and you remain.

Huddling in this dual purpose hide.

    Dear Gion
I find this poem a bit difficult to follow.
    But good. Keep writing.
    All the best.

The passage of time and events and reactions to it and to them, Fergus
